Cortijo del Marques also located in Granada is a hotel and restaurant. This amazing palace was once a farmhouse in 1496 and was handed over after the war. It has served as barracks for the Spanish civil war and deeply rooted in the history of Spain. It lay dormant for over 20 years, deteriorating and lonely. At the beginning of the 21st century, it was discovered and restored to its previous glory. It seats amoung amazing olive orchards and wheat fields tucked into the beautiful Spain countryside. It is now open for all to enjoy. This hotel offers it’s very own chapel complete with the ancient family coat of arms. The chapel is breathtaking.
