What are your dark sides?
Don’t you have any?
Then you’re lucky.
I have them.
Sometimes I choose to confront them
and I always win – I move on – they die.
Sometimes I ignore them,
they will win, they will hunt me.
sometimes I let them transform into aggression, insecurity, negative attitude.
Meet Pirata.

Pirata is one year old.
Pirata has missed out the important part of socialization when being young.
Where he lives, he’s the king, and no one enters his kingdom.
This is what he knows.
Out for a walk he is insecure about meeting new people, new dogs and this insecurity/negative energy transforms into aggression.
A problem not so easy to confront on the lead – with people you don’t know and with their dogs on the lead as well.
Therefore we headed of to the best place to work with him – the shelter. (this time ACE Charity)
Being loose around other dogs – secure dogs – with no negative energy – helps Pirata relax and turn an otherwise unpleasant situation to something positive.
After an hour – Pirate had some good fun with other dogs and met people happily as well.
The insecurity is still there – but much less than before.

Later we headed for the beach – its a pleasure watching a dog’s first meeting with the ocean.
Pirata loved it. A dog showed up from nowhere and Pirata met him with a wagging tail.

Face what you fear – or the ghosts will hunt you.

Barry Anderson - Hi Andreas,
Thank You for visiting my Gourmet Recipe site on Flickr and now I am looking at all your Dog Photos. It really touches me as I have a 4 year old mixed Cocker named Lucky. Every dog needs a good home and people should be more educated about the need dogs have and they need to learn more about their own pet as well.
Andreas you picked a good subject , and your photo skills are great.
