Priscilla and Brendan, a Palais Paysan wedding in Marrakech.
For the love struck couple, marriage is something you build together to grow better and wiser together. Being avid explorers and travellers themselves, it came as no surprise that Priscilla and Brendan wanted a destination wedding to mark the new chapter of their lives.
The couple chose the mesmerizing Moroccan setting of Marrakech for their rustic Moroccan destination wedding. They had special memories with the Moroccan landscape and Atlas Mountains especially. So the couple just knew that they wanted the Atlas Mountains as backdrop of their wedding. Therefore they decided to celebrate their wedding at the stunning Le Palais Paysan.
Priscilla and Brendan had a three-day wedding celebration that started off with a visit to Djemaa El Fna for the traditional mint tea of Marrakech. The rehearse dinner was arranged at the ancient medina, Riad.
While planning the wedding, Priscilla and Brendan were not only thinking about how the wedding would go but also whether their guests will find it easy and fun. The goal of planning a destination wedding was to host such a party for their friends and family which they shall remember for years to come.
Priscilla loves the outdoors and the greens of the nature. For her, the plants and tree are more enchanting than flowers. And that is what she wanted for her wedding too. An elegant party set in amazingly natural environment sans the sparkling crystal chandeliers or intricate floral arrangements. And Boutique Souk did a top-notch job ensuring that the bride got exactly that!
The reception was held at the pool side of Le Palais Paysan during dusk. The timing could not have been more perfect with the warm glow of Moroccan lanterns lightening up the water during dusk. You could see touches of Tuscan style in the setup.
Thank you Priscilla & Brendan for inviting me to Marrakech!
